I was learning how to use order of operation.

I found it easy at order of operation because I know my multiplication sums. I know that I have to do the brackets, indices, division first, then the multiplications, addition and subtraction.

Next time I need to do bigger sums.

I am the Student of the Week because I have been helping others, using my initiative, doing my homework, having a positive attitude and being on task.

On Friday 14 March I earned 5 badges for being a School Councillor, Digikids, Enviro Team, Library Monitor and Wet Day Monitor. I'm very proud for being given these leadership opportunity.

I will perform my poem to an audience, maybe using drums.

Structure:

Line 1 -  Introduction.

Line 2 – Introduction of family and heritage.

Line 3 -  Animal metaphor

Line 4 –  Nature metaphor 

Line 5 –  Personality and Qualities

Chorus - Refrain, written by the class describing my talents.

I found this a little bit tricky to describe myself.

Welcome to my Blog

My name is Jennifer.  I go to Elm Park School and I'm in Room 19 with Mrs Taljaard.  I'm doing a blog so that I can post my work and get feedback.  I enjoy art, learning and helping others.  This year I hope I can participate in School Councillor and House Captain.  I'm looking forwards to having lots of visitors and reading your comments.  

This year, I'm really excited about Camp because I get to go surfing, sailing, tree climbing and lots of other activities.
